Design concept

This design is for an app that allows users to book a meeting room in their office environment. For the landing page I aimed for a clean organised looking style as I think this style would work best for this type of app. In the hero I wanted to make it clear what the app does and below mention key selling points and in the navigation give the option to see demos, sign up or login if already an account holder. First I created a task flow to show the screens I was planning to design.

Next I created wireframes for mobile screens. I looked at similar applications and decided on the screens needed to complete a room booking system. I pictured it as more of a smartphone app but also created a desktop version.

After this I researched colours and fonts to suit this kind of app and the tone I was aiming to design and created a style guide and logo accordingly.

Based on the task flow, wireframes and style guide I designed high fidelity prototypes for both mobile and desktop screens which I tested with users as a prototype.
